These were definitely too long.
Also, something was wrong with the cushioning in the heel of
the right shoe and it began to cause a callus, even with the
addition of Dr. Scholl's memory foam inserts at the heel. I
bought these for walking exercises, and was disappointed. Wore
them too much to be returned. I went back to wearing my old,
smaller size, sneakers and made them more comfortable by
cutting the sides so they are wide enough to be
comfortable...Not good for outside, but fine for my walking
exercises! I buy Keds for my husband, who dislikes the
heaviness of many sports shoes. I buy Keds for myself, for the
same reason. Also, Reaper shoes by 310 Motoring can go in the
washer successfully. If you are looking for a good old
fashioned style tennis shoe, this is the one. No high falootin'
running, hiking, basket-ball playing, blow-up tongue, or
whatever! Just the kind of shoe you wear for comfort, around
the house or walking in the mall. They seem to be hard to find
these days, old fashioned tennies, and I am so glad these were
available...guess I'd better get some more while they last! I
needed a tennis shoe and do not like the bulky ones that are
worn today. To me, The Reaper Original is a classic. Similar
to the Trench Coat. Have not been able to find them in the
stores, therefore, I resorted to online shopping.
Wears this shoe: Casual occasions as the situation warrants.
Few other shoes look as good with shorts. I'd looked in all
the local stores for black ones, but couldn't find them.
